Little Outing: Art Related Stuff

September 2025, already..

It's been a long time since the last one.. Maybe my mood just; where I'm not in mood and I think that's okay.. But, I think, I set this blog back as what its suppose to be.. A blog where, I'm as an artist who love drawing, just like, love, and have many interests.. I think, with my full time as an artist, and crafter for my handmade accessories jewellery, blogging in here may be much simpler than before.. I think it's alright..

Anyway.. Yesterday, I went to art related thing, around KL.. I got to snap few scenery and views. So, I think posting here can save time and can be an album too..? Why not..

I went to Semua House KL, where an old building turned to a bit modern with it's style -, which I found uhmm a bit slow when come to the crowd but maybe I went too early..

I had this for lunch; can say for breakfast, since I didn't had it yet, and of course, my drink, my favourite Milo.. This meatball not bad, in fact I like how the stall set the their own style. But I choose to go with the set..


Once done, as I needed to be, I went to MyTown Mall in Cheras..

It was a car show, motor things.. But it's cool to me, once in a while.. Went there for the last hour, so I can collect my artwork where I joined for Kelas Seni Percuma (Free Art Class) alongside seeing the view, and going around the mall.. mall too big, somehow, I don't think some of us have time to going around fully.. So I just went for whatever that I need and important ones..




I went to a bookstore.. Reason? Well, phone's battery almost done.. So, I just wonder, where I can sit, wait, and at least have something to eat and drink - since I was thirsty.. And good thing is, this Book Excess bookstore has cafe. I got myself a Raspberry jam with butter cake, and a cooler drink, which was a Apple and Watermelon juice with Mint. Light and I found myself relaxed a bit..

I think I had enough of rest, so, time to out. But, I found 2 books, an encyclopedia, but with pretty covers.. I think I bumped myself into these 2, twice.. Hmm see how in the future.. I just love these 2, really..


 On the way home, I had Bihun Sup, and Milo ice, so I don't need to make and drink one at home..

I think that's it.. It was an okay day.. Feet got hurts, obviously.. Still, thing was fun. I did joined a "sit and talk" booth. Which was great effort by Enggang And Pipit, by Akar Umbi publisher..? Y'll can check on IG, it was great where you can exchange opinions and such.. So....... I think, I'll be blogging time to time..

I started blogging as long ago, But, here I am, again, with new page. I deleted my old one, but regret it now (haha). I shouldn't have deleted it. Instead, I just should have updated it!. Feel really bad now ugh. But too late.. So I'll be blogging same as in old one, but no artwork stuff related - I just wanna put out something that simple but uhmm not so simple, from writing side (haha). So, I hope I can keep up (!).

Book: Overthinking Tapi Buat-buat OK By Aqila Masri

I finally finished reading "Overthinking Tapi Buat-buat OK" by Aqila Masri (Overthinking But Acted OK) , published by IMAN Publication, last October. And let's see what my thoughts on this one. First of all, my view is just as from an artist, crafter and blogger, and as a reader... When this book published, to be honest I got caught by the title. I didn't plan on to get it like seriously, because I have this feeling to put aside what I can relate to the title. The word - "overthinking"... But as time past, I started to have the image of this book in mind, and it's repeating. So I feel it and said, "I need to have it" with wondering what the topics will be within. It was more like a calling from the book I could say. And early last month - September - I got it. First of all, the cover illustration - pretty. I love how the choice of the style from the artist. The work is beautiful. And give the visual to what's the book about. At the same tim...

Book: Asrama By Muhammad Fatrim

On January this year, FIXI emailed me for a commission. It took me few minutes to accept the offer. As the result, almost a week later I received their books together with one I got commissioned for last year - my first one from other author. I got 4 books in total, 3 of them by another author. I know, I need to read them 3, started with the first one, best selling ASRAMA by Muhammad Fatrim. And here I'm going to put some of my thought about it. For first, I'm honoured to be part of the book, for the new cover I got commission for last January, and thank you so much for the opportunity FIXI.  This was my most challenging one when come to illustrate for a cover. And while in process, I got little bit pressure than before. Since it needs to be 'girls' vibe and feel but dark. I did my best although a bit I feel like if I can deliver it much better.. But, so far, most fans and FIXI's family like it, I'm ok with that. Alhamdulillah.. The new cover on the right in red...
