Little Journey: A Coffee Festival

I decided to go with Blogger now.

So, straight to the title, since it's been quite sometimes I'm not write my blog that I usually do.

And so...... Yesterday I went with my big brother and lil sis to a coffee fest!

Good Coffee Festival, name of the festival.

Set at Parc, in Subang. It's a new family park where you can picnic, jogging, or play around at evening. It's hidden, kind of - and a festival like this one is good for promote a new place like Parc. It also has a warehouse space like where a show or exhibition can be held. It's open and eco in design, concrete, minimal like. Well, still, it's our country which is hot so, still.. But it's a cool place. With that too, there's small corner of garden and space outdoor with design suitable for skateboarding.

As so, we bought coffees at big bro's friend's booth, Port Coffee.

An independent coffee business his friend run since Covid pandemic. And there was many other indies coffee business on the festival. We decided to bought from his friend's. To which I bought black coffee with hazelnut and.. It was really are coffee! Thick bitter of coffee and I talk the real coffee. While lil sis had white coffee with hazelnut. Which, well, I should had.. And as a non coffee drinker, I guess my tongue just not fit with the taste.

It was hard for me actually to finish the coffee. And so we had some snack..? Dessert for just to fill our stomach before we have our proper meal.

And so big bro who rarely will go with sweet, went with it too, which was pancakes.

This was mine. I shared with lil sis. Oreo with chocolate pancakes, I had two. Lil sis two. Fair enough and good enough for us for awhile. Black coffee and and my hand fan, I just always with it now as it's a hot day these day, and I just all time with it now.

As for big brother, he had one with strawberries.

Not much else than these. As me and lil sis had deep and long conversation, so do with big bro.

Other thing, there was an accident happened. Related with skateboarding booth. And I'm not write about it...

Had cool, light walk around. Where on the outdoor part, booths for foods and camping materials are open. There was frozen lamb, biscuits, brownies, cakes, and drinks too. There was also musician who sang, rock and roll songs, old and recent, and early 2000s songs. So nostalgic. I even tried to recalled one of the song he, the musician sang. It was "The Reason" by Hoobanstank. It was great and so many people as time flies, since evening are much cooler lately. But it was a hot day.

The outside just full with people. Skateboarding area at front. There's man made lake.. too...

Else, I like the small garden area..

Which is my favourite plant, Monstera.

I should have checked on the small garden...

Not many but I love how there was vegetables, also with house plants.

To which I'm planning on for my project.

This can be long one, so I think I'll up another part as where we had our dinner, and we so hungry that night.

Book: Overthinking Tapi Buat-buat OK By Aqila Masri

I finally finished reading "Overthinking Tapi Buat-buat OK" by Aqila Masri (Overthinking But Acted OK) , published by IMAN Publication, last October. And let's see what my thoughts on this one. First of all, my view is just as from an artist, crafter and blogger, and as a reader... When this book published, to be honest I got caught by the title. I didn't plan on to get it like seriously, because I have this feeling to put aside what I can relate to the title. The word - "overthinking"... But as time past, I started to have the image of this book in mind, and it's repeating. So I feel it and said, "I need to have it" with wondering what the topics will be within. It was more like a calling from the book I could say. And early last month - September - I got it. First of all, the cover illustration - pretty. I love how the choice of the style from the artist. The work is beautiful. And give the visual to what's the book about. At the same tim...

Book: Mereka By Ariff Adly

After done with UNBOX, I decided to continue with MEREKA by same author. And I like more when come to it's cover artwork. Which a digital art. Bestselling too, MEREKA actually very unexpected for me and for most, it has something much darker compared to 2 other before. I read this on 3rd week of July. As usual, before I put my thoughts on this, I'm a visual artist-illustrator, crafter, a blogger, and all just my thoughts as a reader.. So.. Excuse my broken English or whatever I'm trying to put in words in here... MEREKA as in English, "them", in my view from the story plot, it should be "them". This one open not too slow and not too fast. The opening just as in reality of real life friendship, joking around, and life talking but with creepy things going on as usual, Ariff Adly... At first, this one makes me feel like this will be in reality without confusion and straightforward like that... I was wrong... In fact it somehow, put me in a place where I hav...

Some Thoughts: November

It's strange sometimes how I feel like time flies so fast specially at near end of the year. Now, already November. Interesting, isn't it? Writing this at midnight past 2am. Yes, I'm already sleepy but just feel like to blog out something I guess. I just done with my 2 days booth, which I'm selling my handmade accessories and jewellery - handcrafted by me, each one of them. And alhamdulillah this time was the best one. And I got home by Saturday night, and Sunday where whole body aches.. Still not getting used to it? I don't know but more to my body health conditions I think.. Currently, while booth or which I called "boothing" become my main focus, I too, still, reading books that I got for myself and current reading - "When You Think You're Falling: Holding On To God's Mercy To Keep Going" by Ameera Aslam, a Singaporean born author. And also, I started back with gardening few days ago, after long time... Well... Raining still the season...
